About
MY BACKGROUND
When singing and performing just bubbles up from your soul---what can you do? Follow your Bliss, as they say! As a young girl in a small town in Ohio, I adored singing wherever they'd invite me. That love brought me to New York City, where I was fortunate to perform on Broadway, and was hired to do many National Tours and work in regional companies across the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and Europe. With New York City as a primary base, time spent in Los Angeles was also productive, working in tv and film.
My parallel career was given to me starting in college, when my undergraduate voice teacher, Dr. Orcenith Smith, started sending me his overflow singing students.

Studying Voice & Opera at The Juilliard School of Music with Eleanor Steber got me started in The Big Apple, earning a 4 year Professional Diploma.

I am happy to balance both my performing career (with time out for being a single mom!) and teaching and directing in the mix. It's a Wonderful Life!
